Lane Haygood is a seasoned litigator whose varied practice includes First Amendment defense, state and federal appeals (including practice before the United States Supreme Court), civil rights law, interactive entertainment law, and complex civil, commercial and criminal litigation.
 
Prior to joining the KUSK team, Haygood managed the Odessa, Texas branch of a major personal injury firm, ran his own law practice for the better part of a decade, and worked as an assistant district attorney in southeast Texas, where he prosecuted numerous complex white collar and major violent felony cases.
 
An avid fly fisherman, ultralight hiking enthusiast, and game hunter, Lane can often be found in the great outdoors when he’s not found in his office or in a courtroom winning landmark victories for his clients.

Lane is admitted to practice in the states of Texas, Washington and New York, and in the ​Western and Southern Districts of Texas, District of Colorado, Eastern District of New York (forthcoming), Fifth Circuit, and United States Supreme Court.
